These five stories vary in quality as much as the quality of the stories. Justin Long is surprising in Dinky's. The Little Sister of Eluria was GREAT and the best introduction to the Dark Tower as you could ask! The Autopsy so so. Lucky Quarter was a unlucky read. I have forgotten the painting all together, but overall well worth the money!
I agree with some of the reviewrs, I would say this has 3 really good stories in it. Everything eventual, autopsy room and the last story (I dont recall the name). If you have a long commute and want something fun to listen to give this a shot. It will be worth it.
Not being a avid horror fan, I found these stories interesting. What I enjoyed the most was the selection of the narrators for each of the different stories. They added a touch of realism that caught my imagination. I found myself sitting in the driveway, engine running...
In all honesty, the stories are not what I would call real horror. The closest thing was the "Autopsy Room 4" story. But I found them interesting and very imaginative.
the first story is hard to follow, I have not been able to listen to the rest of the book because the first story jumped around too much. A big disappointment, the last stephen king book was great. So far this is below average.
