Dick Hill's performance is great. While I think Rosenberg is a good writer, the fact that many events are out of date or ended up with very different results (ie: the Taliban has been decimated in the book, but is still very much alive in real life) takes away from the book for the 2012 listener. On the other hand, it makes me curious about how Rosenberg will deal with those issues later in the series.
I enjoy Bible prophecy and it was interesting to learn more of the mind set of the thinking and also the technology developments in the countries of the mideast.
I've listened to the entire series. All are very good. Since the start of the series is suppose to take place in the last 10 years or so (which was the future when it was written).. you have to suspend your knowledge a bit. But, it is a gripping series and well worth the listen. Christian series and gives us a "what if" possibility. Some parts are dry, but necessary to get the background. The reader is excellent - and brought a lot to the story. Yes, I'd recommend it - well worth the credits!
Great dual... Rosenberg and Hill! This story was engaging and fast paced, leaves you wanting to download the sequel without a doubt.
Son. Husband. Father. Brother/Pastor. Missionary/Friend. Educator/Writer.
I enjoyed the Tehran Initiative a lot, so I figured this would be just as enjoyable! And... It was! It is a good Joel Rosenberg book with the typical themes you can expect: Light vs Darkness, good vs evil, action, political thriller, small character development.
Story is inly possible wh a real American president...I fear our president would rather fire on Isreal b4 he'd ever launch against an Islamic nation.
John Bennett, highly talented, successful, intuitive, and raised in Russia by a sweet babushka.
Easy, clear voice. Never tiring to listen to. He adds passion and emotion, but not overly so.
Eli Mortikai, ex-Mousad, to engage in general rambling discussion wherever he wants to travel.
