If it were based on any type of foundation. It was utter nonsense.
He took pieces of the bible, twisted them around to suit his purpose and make his point. Either the bible is true or false, we don't get to rewrite the most popular book of all time to suit our twisted version of our own truth.
The soothing voice was possibly the only positive of this book.
disappointment. I usually am more careful about my choices as I plan to listen to each book a minimum of 3 times to gain as much as possible. I usually can find some nugget of value even in a mediocre book, however this book is pure nonsense and useless. Very disappointing.
Worst book I've ever purchased from Audible.com
Very good book on it's own. Peter Wolf does good job in this audio version. I like his voice anyway. Recognizing this Voice of knowledge has been a great experience for me. My experience also is that it has helped recognize the suggestions of the Flesh that we can chose not to listen too if we want. Time well spent.
The narrator's soothing voice helps deepen the message the author is delivering. This book is a great accompaniment to "The 4 Agreements" and continues to take the mystification out of the Toltec wisdom he wants to impart to us all. So simple a concept, I have to hear about it again and again!
I love this book very much. I have listened to it many times, and everytime it is a real pleasure and inspiration. I highly recommend it. I also have a paperback copy.
This book is a great gift to anyone fortunate enough to have it present itself to your life. I will listen to it and/or read it many times, I'm sure.
This is my first exposure to Don Miguel Ruiz, Toltec wisdom and philosophy. I love the life simplicity and spiritual commonality that we all are connected to, but often ignore or just can't "see".
The narration was pleasantly engaging. I'm looking forward to experiencing The Four Agreements.
