I loved the history of the falcon, but at the end was dissatisfied.
Every turn of events during the search was great. I love that the falcon had as much history as it did.
Narration was as expected, I enjoyed it overall, does exactly what you expect. Mostly back story into the falcon. Not a bad ending but it doesn't really reveal anything important to the Star Wars universe. It was interesting how the ship is more tied into the overall epic than originally imagined. So if ur looking for a quick star wars fix, Look no further but if you want some serious fiction with epic battles and some expansion to the Jedi mythos. Keep looking.
I loved the rich history of the millennium falcon. The worst part was the abrupt lazy ending. I feel it was written by a ninth grade creative writing student that didn't know how to end the story. cheap and lame.
He has a good range of voices. I enjoy his work.
I'm torn. it was, until the ending cheapened the book.
the book should have ended as book 1 of a trilogy. that way, the author could expand on the story and not take a lazy way out.
This is such a wonderful history of the famed Millennium Falcon. It gives a rich and unexpected timeline of the ship we all love. I loved this book. It was a little low on action, but full of content. I might listen to it again.
Probably wouldn't listen again just because it's not that kind of book. It provides a lot of history of the ship and makes it fun to see her history.
I got a real feeling early on the author was trying to make the previous owners be as eclectic as possible to show that it wasn't just a scoundrel's ship.
From the moment the book was built and how you knew something was different about that particular ship made it seem more realistic.
How the Millennium Falcon became Han solo's
When the Millennium Falcon was first being built in space doc.
Great voice acting and performance - story was forgettable and did not keep me interested
If you're a hardcore Star Wars nerd, this is probably worth the listen for the performance value. As a casual fan, i would skip it. Heir to the Empire 20th Anniversary Edition had the same great performance with a much more interesting story for a Star Wars novice - a better bet in my opinion.
