Funny, heart warming and fun!
Gracie because she was determined.
Character voices and emotion
When Bobby Tom broke out of jail.
Another great Stars novel.
Fun, light but intelligent at the same time
Bobby Denton - dream man:-)
Anna Fields is marvellous
I found the characters to be weak, and superficial, the women down right whiny and irritating. I have loved all of SEP's books but, this one was painfully boring. The women were such whimps and I expected more from Bobby Tom's story then some whiny and juvenile man.
The first in the Chicago Stars series was great (Maybe This Time) and I think the 2nd (Heaven Texas) was even better. SEP has such a great way with making you fall in love with all the people in the books and you start to really care about them and what happens to them. Bobby Tom Denton was great as a side roll in the first book and he is even better as the male star in this book. And who could not love Gracie with her cute awkwardness, have to love a regular (non-bombshell) female star. I thought that I would not like that each book focuses on a new couple but since they all have to do with the Chicago Stars and we get little glimpses of our old favorites I think I will like having a fresh couple to focus on with each new book. I have already bought the 3rd book in this series and cannot wait to start it. If you are looking for great chick lit with true emotions and some steamy scenes then this is a great series to try.
I love SEP's books, this one is just as fantastic as the others!!!! Now to download the next one! Best thing about her books is as you read them you remember the characters from other books and get an update on them!
You love Bobby Tom in "It had to be you" and you continue the love affair in this book. I still laugh when thinking about the pediatrist!! SEP writes such great endings and I loved the end of this book.
I have all of Ms. Phillips books, I can truthfully say, I have not heard a bad one. The twists and turns hit you like a ton of bricks. The narration is also excellent
the feeling that voice of Bobby Tom was actually Reba Mcentire.
It was a good read though...wished it had been more centered around football.
