Well played by Michael York, this is a great story for youngsters, but has enough substance to appeal to adults. Not too long and well worth the listen.
A Classic Christian Allegorical Fantasy Story,
Highly recommend for children of all ages. I think hearing this story in the US, in 2015, requires a classic delivery from Michael York to make sense of the expressions from the Pevensie children.
I love to walk and run listening to audiobooks
This is, in my opinion, a Must Read for all children growing up in the U.S. It is a classic. I devoured the entire series in 2nd grade. Now, I am revisiting them with my 11 year old twins and I am reaffirming my high rating of these novels. They have withstood the test of aging - I read these first around 40 years ago. (do the math, Brett. LOL) The book is fast paced, not too long, but still, has chapters and a solid plot. The 4 children are well-developed characters, and because of its age, I will overlook Mr. Lewis' comment that "war is not for girls." For all parents out there, read this book (and the series) with your children. For all children out there, read this book and the series. They are very much worth it.
Great story, need more variety of voice characters. Super- C S Lewis at his best!
