I love a book that gives me a reasonable backstory for something. This hits all the right notes. I kind of feel like I now understand Peter Pan and it is touching, reasonable, rollicking, and fun. I loved this, and I'm not a huge Pan fan. Plus, Jim Dale. Fabulous!
Saw the play based on this book. Enjoyed this version just as much. Now I see it's the first in a series of books with Peter.
Was hoping it would be a good book for family vacation this summer. Not G, more a soft PG. There's some fighting that gets a little descriptive, and one scene where the villan stabs someone fatally. Probably a little too much for my youngest / toddler.
We loved every minute of this adventurous story!
The story is well written and the narrator reading did a fabulous job.
different approach to an old story. pretty well written, and interesting way to tie in the old book with this story. Jim dale, as always, does a great job putting you into the story.
I have loved Peter Pan since early childhood. This was a great way for me to finally explore how Peter came to be.
Learning how Peter came to fly and not aging.
All of them.
The moment Peter was sitting at the table deciding not to go back to London.
Ready to get the next one.
This book takes us back to the begining of this childhood FAIRY tale. Where did Peter Pan come from? How can he fly? Why doesn't he grow up? The answer to these and many more Pan questions have finaly been revealed!
