Even my eight year old liked it! Made the trip to Legoland so much better and traffic was tolerable with a fun book to listen to! Riordan makes great characters and writes much like James Patterson in that the action is fast-paced and hooks you!
Amy and Dan are admirable, yet believable.
I liked book 1 and I will probably add the rest to my wish list. Though, If they are only going to solve 1 clue per book, I don't know if I will have the patience to listen to all of them. Amy and Dan need to learn not to talk so loudly, they also need to stop letting their relatives sneak up on them so easily.
Won't say, don't like spoiler alerts.
After a suggestion from a friend, I got the first two books for my grandchildren. Then I decided to listen so I could discuss it with them and I really enjoyed the story.
Yes, there is a lot of history to learn as well as follow the mystery in finding the clues
When the mansion was burnt
this was our first
Dan makes us laugh
The Characters the story we can't wait to buy the next one
They are al my favourite I loved the book so much
This is our first but it will be the first of many
The entire book moved us from start to finish we just couldn't stop litening
Highly reccomend for kids and adults great one to listen to as a family
Amy--because everytime the group got into a problem she fixed it.
The second chapter of the book was the best because they worked together to fix the problem.
