While interesting to listen to and heart warming, this book presents the act of starting and running a business in a very simplistic and naive way. I am not saying that many very successful people do not have similar ways of running their businesses but there is nowhere in the book that gives the reality of the huge percentages of businesses that fail even when they do take all the book's lessons to heart.
My review comes from my experience of starting and running multiple successful and failed businesses. Reader beware. This book will only give you one side of the story.
This book is amazing. I actually just got done listening to it and I'm going to listen to it again! This is a must read and I recommend it to anybody trying to better themselves any area of their life.
Loved this audiobook! I didn't want to turn it off! I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to succeed in life. This book applies to all aspects of life, such as your career, family, friends, etc. This is one I'd listen to over and over!
I also bought the print version to use as a reference. Most of the content is stuff we already know, but it is told in a way that makes me want to be a better person. Highly recommended.
The Go-Giver is a 5-star book. I bought the Audible.com version and highly recommend it. The book is written as a story and is quite engaging. Bob and John did a great job with the character development, as I didn’t feel like I was listening to a self-help book, but an entertaining story. I listened to it with my wife and three teens and we all enjoyed it.
This is another book that honestly should be required reading in high schools in America. The 5 laws taught in The Go-Giver are founded on those principles that made our country great because they make us great people. I wrote these 5 Laws on my bathroom mirror. I recommend this book, especially coupled with Judy Robinett’s How to Be a Power Connector.
