This book was a reality check. I learned strategies I can implement right away to change areas I'm unhappy with in my life.
I enjoyed this book and respect T.D. Jakes. However, there are several sections of the book that are addressed directly to African Americans. I decided to give a listen to this book because I saw it given away on Dr. Phil...and was surprised at it's African American focus. There is still some good stuff, but just be aware that you may feel "left out" of the discussion at times if you're not African American.

I will need to listen to this again, he has so many great ideas.
I think I first saw him on Dr. Oz and really liked his ideas. Yes, he is a bishop but is not preachy in the usual annoying way. He gives a great universal message.
