Well well. This is becoming a habit. While I am not in agreement with some of the political themes in this book series, I am totally hooked. I can't give it a 5 because only because, well I just had something that bugged me about giving it that high a mark. This entire series almost gets a 5, but not quite. I would highly recommend all the Mitch Rapp books to anyone who enjoys spy thrillers.
George Guidall is a great narrator and may be the best for this type of novel.
Great read. Only bad thing about this book was that it kept me listening rather going to sleep!
Don't understand some of the comments about the narrator - I think he is doing a great job.
I will look for from same author and narrator.
This like all the other Flynn books was amazing! However, the unabridged reader is a old man who mumbles--which makes the book extremely hard to listen to. I would recommend the reading the book, if possible, and only listening to the abridged versions of all the Flynn books from audible.
I like this series and if you are reading this you mostl likely do too. One more episode of The Mitch Rapp Show. So you already know the deal and this book delivers. The only critisism is that it leans to shodenfreuda to make it's point and it was a little embarrasing to be listneing to such a "see, I told you so" fest. But I can't say it's not exactly what I and other readers have been secretly asking for, for years.
This book is just ok. I usually love Vince Flynn but I am not loving this one and I think it's the narrator. He tries to hard to make things sound exciting, and I really hate the way he does women's voices. The plot is good, but not as exciting as others.
Found the story line exciting and interesting, but there were long sections preaching about extreme measures usage that should have been shortened.
