no information. bad story, terrible production. definitely being returned. sounds like something produced in the sixties.
Say something about yourself!
Some concepts in this book are helpful but this is the age of working smarter, not harder. At times, I felt like this book was funded by Big Business that wants to work people to the bone, and IF they prove themselves AND there is money available, may reward them financially. I feel this book had some good basic points but nothing earth-shattering.
The basic concept that we all need to fine-tune our self-confidence is a good one which is nailed in. I think it was pretty predictable.
Performance was fine.
Acknowledge a dream I have that is often looked at as a "pipe dream." Ironically, the fact this book focused so much on business, my dream has nothing to do with work, but work will enable me to get there. Work is a means to the end for me which I keep in perspective and can still be an excellent team player but not compromise myself or my time to do a quality job.
This book feels old school. "Success" is not just measured by salary, house, and size of car. Success means many things to many people. Success can mean being happy and loving your life, going after your non-work dreams, loving every moment of your life.
This gem of a book was introduced to me by my brother. I have a handbook copy by my nightstand and an audible version for when commuting. This book has inspired me and lifted my spirits countless times throughout my career and family life. I will never go without it.
