Exciting, Shocking, Enjoyable
Acheron - He is very complex and you go from feeling sorry for him, angry with him, desiring him, accusing him and so on. A brilliant Character
It's hard to choose one scene as all of it, from past to present is awesome.
A brilliant book with very well written characters. A must read for anyone.
"WOW...That explais so much,"
I really liked the fact that all the blanks that surrounded Ash have now been filled in. A few things things I had worked out already, but others WOW!
For me, I would have to say it was when he got drunk, on Sprite.
To be completely honest this was the first audibe title I have listened to in a few years, and really enjoyed listening to him read, it was a long book and I didn't get tired of listening to him.
I felt for Ash when he realized what he had done to Tori.
This is a series that I just can not get enough of. It is an awesome trip to take when you need a short break from the real world.
One of the best books in the series, the narrator puts plenty of passion in telling this amazing tale, highly recommend
Acheron is my favourite character
in places it made me very upset but as the story continued i felt greatly for the ending
highly recommend this book and the series, would like to have more to listen to
"Laugh cry steamy as hell"
beautifully narrated and the descriptions as he travels through his long life you can almost feel it from the bowls of atlantis to rissas garden to the car and motorcycle chase. This story has so many twists and turns its positively permed.
when acheron is sitting in rissas garden and he is marveling of the grass under his feet. to when he meets tory and his reaction to her .
he gave acheron a wonderful voice and he was able to give artimus and tory great character his pitch was perfect
ACHERON centuries he walked the earth searching for his heart in the modern world he found it
sherrilyn kenyon writes a wonderful tale and her partnership with holter makes her characters spark with life.
"Loved this book, was unsure for first few chapters"
Was very unsure about this book at the start, but once it headed into the present day I really loved it. A great lead character and because the author allows key characters to die, it keeps the tension going and you rooting for Acheron.
This story exceeded my expectations, my favourite character is the main character Acheron. He is supposed to be a prince of royal linage but instead of being treated with respect and reverence everyone who comes into contact with him lusts and loathes him and ultimately violates him in some unspeakable ways.
I felt a connection with his real mother who was sincere in her efforts to save and protect him as was his sister whom was valiant in her attempts but not always successful.
The story had me hooked, I was captivated by the twists and turns it drove me through a range of feelings and emotions. Often I was angered by the injustice Acheron suffered which riled and disgusted me but there were also times when the intimate scenes were interestingly hot, sensual and sweet.
My favourite part of the book is when Acheron finds his girl and she really has his back despite his past, she wipes away his shame and shuns his torture.
Anyone who likes things of a supernatural elk will love this book.
"A super read"
This was a massive book, well written but only of interest to those who have read the other Dark hunter books. To the uninitiated I think it would hold little interest. Holter Graham the narrator has a sexy reading voice and so was exceptionally well chosen for this.
"A bit too long"
I listened to this all the way through although at times I wanted to delete it. Acheron is a good yarn but the real action only gets going near the end of the book where the ending is crammed in spoiling it for me. There was far too much degradation for poor Acheron which kept piling on until you didn't care anymore. I think it needs to be edited and then all the really interesting bits could make this a really good story.
"Some more Sherrilyn Kenyon audiobooks please!!"
I love the Dark Hunter series and would love to see more of the older titles on the Audible UK site.
Archeron remains at the top of my fav books read to date and the audio had me captivated as well
