Less cringe-inducing than the previous book, which made it less compelling. Not as good as Infected, more generic, but still a fun read. It answers those lingering questions from book 1, like Does Scott Sigler get better at doing women's voices? (yes), or Is the world safe from the triangles? (clearly not), and What the heck happened to Perry's balls...
Excellent book I love this series. Very different from the norm. I've been tired of the same old same old storylines and predictable endings.
different story different reader
tried to use different voices audible didnt match description to book so most of my review is their fault will be returning only listened to first chapter
I just love Sigler's ability to make me cringe with his gory tales. I think these are great reads, but not for the weak stomached, or faint of heart.
As good - if not better than Infected. Awesome - even seems to be a word that falls short
The most imaginative and thought-provoking story EVER told!
Scott Sigler is the Author to pay attention to. Read Infected first, then Contagious, (Pandemic should be released in 2013, the third book of this trilogy), in the meantime checkout Ancestors and Nocturnal. You're welcome. :)
I'm only about a half hour in to this listen, but I'm not sure I can go any further -- the narrator (the author himself) is so bad as to be almost unbearable. Sounds like a grade 4 student reading in front of his class.
