Roberts is a prolific and popular writer. I was interested to check out some of her work. So, of course, this was a well presented story. But I certainly was not one of her target readers. Rare for me, lots of fast forwarding, well, to see if what happens in the end is what is clearly going to happen in the end! It just went on and on. However it is an optomistic read for women who need the hope imbedded in a saga of tough no-housework, no-children, no-settling-down men being converted into dedicated and skilled family men.
For me, the beginning took some time to get wrapped into but once I got there, the plot was very rich with characters whose personalities are deeper than their initial introductions. I am looking forward to Part 2. I loved David Stuart's narration...he did an excellent job even when he read for the female characters. It is worth your purchase and time:)
Say something about yourself!
The story was really good. The characters are boys who have been adopted by a couple. The boys are grown and both parents have died. The 4th boy is only 10 yrs old. Seth has a social worker who knows what he needs. The story could have been told without all the language. It would stand on it's own.
Feeling right there
No really like to savor the books but its hard when there this good
Sure - good character development and story was compelling
Other Nora Roberts books - similar style and story line

Cameron Quinn was my favourite character of the four and stayed that way throughout the four books. Ms Roberts gave him real grit and dimension.
The concept for the story was great but come on Nora let's get a better love story. Even I, who didn't realize she had a date (thought initally I made the cut for Little Sister) figured it out after a 1/2 hr.
Put another male and/or female in the love story to give it some realizm.
Ok, the baby is actually a 10 year old boy named Seth and the men are his three older brothers, Cameron, Ethan and Philip. This was a heart warming story of the importance of family and as well as an entertaining romance. I really look forward to the rest of the series.
A nice start for the series, Cameron rocks on changing his life for his family and then throw in romance. I would rate this 10 stars. Great Book
Not much to say on this one, but it did hold my interest, I found it to be a good one.
