No. There are better ones out there.
I LOVE her "In Death" series and have all 38. This one drones compared to those.
Yes, try another series.
Yes, we all need to get away at times. This book will do it for you
Nothing. He is quite good
I prefer her books that deal with the magical and spiritual aspect. This book was too much like a Harlequin Romance, for me.
A Book Worm
This, the first of 4 books in the series is my favorite. It sets the foundation, and introduced the main characters of the series. Cameron is a man's man. He loved his parents unconditionally; therefore he's able to love his brothers unconditionally. Despite the questionable circumstances under which Seth came into the family, he was accepted simply because their father asked them to take care of him. That settled it. Cam's less than stellar housekeeping skills are hilarious; the dishwasher scene is classic. This book will make you laugh and cry, which in my book makes for an excellent read/listen.
I read all four, and am looking forward to experiencing them in their audio version.
I am almost finished with listening to this book and can say, I love it. The social issues and emotional issues this novel covers will have you laughing, cheering, and crying.
Great Story Great narrator - I've read this book then bought it on tape and now have bought it again for my mp3 as I love the story. This is the first book in a really good series. Romance for sure but with some super personalities and very well written. One of the very best.
Of all of the series books written by Nora Roberts this is my favorite one. I love how she tells each brothers stories. This first book in the series starts with Cameron Quinn. It tells about the tragedy of losing his father, reuniting with his brothers, gaining a new little brother, finding love and started a new business. I go back and listen to the series once every two to three months and hear something that I didn't the previous times. Even my husband and his friend enjoyed listening to them. I recommend listening to them all. Starting with Sea Swept, Inner Harbor, Rising Tides and Chesapeake Blue.
Although dated, I lived during the time this story is set. It is accurate and thought provoking even for today. It certainly will become one of the best series Nora Roberts has written. This is the first book and will leave you wanting more.
