Robin is very upbeat and enthusiastic. This book helped me realize things that I can do right now to better myself and therefore be a better leader. There is a small self promoting section which I didn't care for, but everything else was well worth the time spent, so much so that I've listened to it twice.
It was a good listen and there are nuggets of learnings through the 60 minutes. I believe you fully get the most out of this I'll requires listening multiple times. The reader (author) is to excitable and lacks the pauses for effect. On multiple occasions, it seemed name dropping was more important than the message which turned me off. It doesn't add value to drop the who's who I'm CEOs or large companies rather I'd prefer saying I've had a friend, or workshop attendee, etc a the source than name dropping. This is the reason I went 4 stars and not 5.
This audibook has inspired me to become a better person. It amazes me how easily we can forget that the most important part of being a well rounded human being is to be kind, warm and approachable. Thank you Robin for bringiung me back to that knowledge!
Loved it, it reassured me in what I already knew. Being a business owner, mother and ministry leader we often need to know are we headed in the right direction in how we feel and what we think. I always start my day with prayer and direction from God and what you shared is that we are to implement the same tactics that the word of God teaches.
The author did not say anything profound or special. Pretty general and vanilla advice. I didnt finish it. It was not worth my time.
lame and watered down advice.
