Writer and illustrator, gardener, cook and mother... A woman with too many hats to name!
Maybe it's just me, but I found this book really difficult to get into, mostly because of the narrator. He had one of those commercial announcer-type cadences in his speech and I just couldn't seem to get into the actual material. It also seemed very repetitious in the couple of chapters that I did make it through, before finally giving up. However, as a writer myself, I don't want to completely walk away from this without at least giving it one more shot. I plan to come back to this book when I feel like I have a more open space of time to focus on it fully and really see if it was perhaps that I was just listening to this book at the wrong time, in the wrong frame of mind. If my opinion changes then I will change this rating. As with any review on a book though, I would advise not to take my word for it and to read it for yourself. It could very well be that this book holds the perfect message for you, where it did not for me. Sometimes that is just the way of it with inspirational reads. Good luck in your journeys to self improvement!
...I have several books & authors who address this subject but this Haanel work is IT. He addresses every aspect of (what I refer to as) activating one's ascended self. Money WELL spent.

I always knew ,I had a feeling it was much much more in life so after reading and listen everything makes sense now life is great blessings and love to all.
I am an author, an artist, a musician, actor, and photographer. I am also a certified fitness trainer. Some weeks I average 2-3 audiobooks
He does a good job re-explaining the teachings from Lisa Nicholes' THE SECRET. It is a good alternate version of basically the same thing. He used different words and went about his explanation in a different way.
They were both in agreement. He didn;t say anything new, but he did say it different.
I have bought a half dozen other books on the subject matter and my life has changed. I am seriously a higher life form now. I get it I see how it all works. I have experienced conspicuous events of it working. Things just happen for me. I learned to love more deeply. and more often. I learned to be thankful and wish the best for others. I have a feeling that loving my neighbor will save maybe a million or more lives. I understand what I the gauntlet I will walk and move forward as an agent for the Universal Creator and Mind.
It basically was the exact same message in the life-changing book called "The Secret: and talks about how one;s thoughts cause the mind to vibrate. This vibration sends out frequencies. It searches for and attracts those things on like frequencies to one another. The Law of Attraction or Like attracts Like, the power of positive thinking, the Universal Mind, The Creative mind. What is energy? It is a fascinating subject that is just at the precipice of further exploration.
I liked it.
I recommend that you get THE SECRET, and THE POWER, both written by Lisa ______
I have taken on a variety of books about the power of thought and heard the same core message. It is real. It works every time. The boundaries need to be challanged. If we can believe we live in a reality before it actually gets here, that effort creates the reality. I think I have used it to control the weather while visiting family in Ohio. It called for rain on like three days, and it did rain, but never where we were. It never interfered with our visit.
the tone of the narrator is boring, i guess you get what you pay for...at only $6.99
it's a great book for people that want to change their lives...
yes, i'm ready to take charge of my life and make my dreams come true...
great read, wrong narrator
Now i understand what my grandmother meant by get a hold of yourself. I wish i would have use this in my early twenties.
This is an exceptional book!! I have read several inspirational books and this, to me, is the culmination of the greats in one.
I know many people have been complaining about the narrator, but there is a solution! He reads way too fast, and may be easily slowed down by adding the audible app to you cell phone. I have been listening to this book through my phone at the narrator speed of .5, and although there is the occasional screeching sound, it is a lot more pleasant to listen to! He sounds a little drunk slowed down, but how better to learn than with humor!!
I highly recommend this book :)
Yes, I would listen again and I have listened to it over and over. Each time I listen, I get one more little nugget that I can use.
I bought and downloaded The Master Key System because I originally listened to Tapping The Source, which is a contemporary interpretation of The Master Key System. I enjoyed Tapping The Source and when the author mentioned the original inspiration for his book, I knew I had to see what it was like.
I have never listened to Jason McCoy before and agreed with other reviews that his voice is a little harsh and off putting at first. The simple remedy is to turn down the volume a little and remember why you are reading (listening) to the book in the first place. This book will help you get the bigger picture and learn to be more tolerant and accepting. I believe that enlightenment means being able to receive the information in the book without being pedantic. There were a few times that words were unusually pronounced, but the information in the book is what I was after. I have done some reading and voice over work and it's not quite as easy as you would think to catch every mistake.
The Master Key System describes in detail how to follow a simple plan to reach enlightenment and improve your life. I believe Tapping The Source takes the information one step further and shows you practical ways to quiet your mind allow your source to guide you. Quieting your mind and just listening is one of the ideas that I think resonated with me the most.
Listen to these books as often as you can and I believe you will find several very useful tips and techniques for reaching enlightenment.
This book starts with the primise that what you think is what you get. But it then explains this not from experiences but my having a one sided theology discussion. Every time a point is made it uses a real world exmple and then makes leaps from one concept to another without any foundation other than the debate sounds logical.
I would not recommend this book to anyone.
