I felt like I stalked Einstein throughout his life and had a professor explain things I didn't get. The narration was great and the story captivating.
Einstein, I miss you already.
I loved this audio book! I found it informational, inspiring, and challenging. As a man of science - an engineer rather than a physicist - I found the descriptions of his and other theories to be in depth enough to challenge my understanding and leave me thirsty for more reading and a better understanding. I really enjoyed the language used to convey Einstein's story. I found it fittingly elegant. Finally, I found the story of his life entertaining and informational. I can't recommend this product highly enough.
Born in Ohio, lived in California, Alaska, and now Texas
Once again Mr. Isaacson produces a biography which provides exceptional insight on the subject at hand. Listening will provide you with a clear understanding of why Einstien was able to develop insights that others were not. Amazingly, he never won the noble prize for his greatest accomplishments - the special and general theories of relatively. This bio provides much more beyond a clear understanding of Einstein's contributions. Einstein was extremely compassionate and made many lasting contributions to society that went beyond science. This is a worthwhile listen about an exceptional human being.
It discusses both of his life and his theories. I highly recommend especially if you know nothing about Einstein but that he a genius.
I learned everything I could ever have wondered about Albert Einstein's life, science, and politics, and was able to understand his cosmic concepts due to simple imagery and patient explanation. As a bonus, I learned much more about early Europe, Russia, politics, pitfalls, and US history than I ever expected. This book was absolutely engaging. I did not want it to end. The lessons in tolerance and humility are for us all. This story is timeless.
Einstein's focus and passion is something beyond admirable and something I want to have as well. How can someone learn to be passionately curious?

The history of Einstein's life was fascinating. From his almost unimaginable developing of new theory to his difficulties in his own life. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
This biography is...long. I'm struggling to finish it because it just doesn't have a lot of spark, the narrator is rather dull and well, it just goes on and on. I really like biographies in general but this one is hard for me to stay with. It is interesting to learn more about Einstein and have the inconsistencies and false stories revealed, I just wish it could be one with a better style and pace.
