Loved Einsten's biography. What a brilliant gentle man! What a life!
My problem with it was that I'm not a physics or mathematics person, and that part was too too much for me. I would drift off for ten minutes and realize I hadn't been listening. For maybe the first time ever..... I might have enjoyed listening to an abridged version.
Everything was awesome!!
As an intellectual you're suppose to stand-up in this time or situations....Albert Einstein.
One of the best biography I had listened to in years.
Einstein life is inspiring, humbling. What an amazing mind! Although he did not practice any particular established religion, he was a deeply religious person. Probably it was his deeply religious convictions, together with his incredible passion for knowledge, what led him to his great discoveries.
I got this book because I thought Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs was outstanding and because I have loved every book I've experienced narrated by Edward Herrmann. The team delivered.
You will learn a ton by way of this book... about principles of physics, historical movements and the quirks of Einstein's personality.
Some people found it a bit long but I thought it was so well written and organised that the hours flew by. Really loved it. Strongly recommended.
Photographer and High School Art Teacher. I crave the enchantment of a good book. It's like sipping on a fine glass of wine, only lasts much longer.
You think you know all there is to know about a historical figure, having studied them through school. This book gave me a different view of Einstein, the eccentric scientists, but also a man, husband, father, and advocate for humanity. He was a unique human with amazing insight.
