I am a former language arts teacher who likes to read and listen to audiobooks. I love a well-told story whether it is fiction or biography. I have a book on my iPod, iPad, and by my bed at all times!
I liked the characters in the book and the unexpected events.
I will either read or listen to more books by this author.
What a fun book! I do appreciate the irreverance of the main character and the narrator does a bang-up job of bringing the character to live. It is not the most suspenseful crime drama, and the story is a bit lacking, but over all it is a great "read."
I wouldn't use a credit because its a bit short but its a easy listen without too many lulls. That's probably the best thing about this series, they move at a fast pace for those who don't like too much detail.
Rosenfelt's style is very enjoyable combining humour with an interesting plot ... even though you tend to have the solution only at the end ... the journey is really enjoyable as his wise cracking self effacing style is just as pleasant as the story ...
I use his book as a break in between longer sagas.

I live these stories - the author has the same sense of humor that I do - very enjoyable - good mystery with twists and turns.
love his delivery
I think I picked this volume for the author and the narrator. The story was a little to chopped for me, compared to some of the other stories from this author.
David Rosenfelt does it again. The Andy Carpenter character is hilarious.
The whole series is fantastic. I can't wait for number 10.
He's the reason the audio book is so enjoyable. Next to Lorelie King, he's the best narrator I've listened to.
entertaining, funny, enjoyable
Andy's description of all the people at his house eating him out of house and home had me chuckling off and on all day. Andy's view of the world is rather off center, and very funny.
His voice is perfect for this. I had just finished listening to Stephen King's 11-22-63, and it took me a few minutes to get used to the sound of his voice...to me he sounds a little like Billy Crystal. He is clear, easy to understand, and her reads Andy's thoughts with a it of dry wit and it works perfectly.
No because I don't like to re read books. There are too many I haven't read.
When Laura was shot.
I particularly like the way this author writes the main character. He seems like someone I would like to know.
