The plot was simple, story moves at an okay pace. The narator does a great job with the voices, but the story is not engaging enough to hold your interest tightly.
I could not stop listening to this book! In fact, I spent extra time on the treadmill wanting to hear another chapter. The plot was excellent and the reader kept your attention. I would like to read more books by this author. Highly recommend this book for anyone who likes mysteries.
This book wasn't very good and the person that read it was worse! I have listened to a lot of books and thankfully this is the first one I really disliked.
The surfer-dude nasal twang of the narrator is extremely annoying; the tone and cadence are like listening to the sarcasm of Erma Bombeck for hours on end.
This was the first and last Lisa Scottoline novel to which I've listened; in a nutshell, banal, boring, redundant language, and predictable.
Would not recommend for anyone wanting an intelligent listen.
