This book really opened my mind. It makes logical sense and the author delivers the content in an easy to understand way. I am a layman and I know understand things that I thought were beyond my comprehension such as how the body works and DNA etc. I loved this book.
I'm Source Energy! I believe.
It's about time someone took the time to educate people on what's controlling us! This is real confirmed fact! The world must know so that we can tap in on our true power and become what we were intended on being!
That you Bruce, for reconfirming and letting the world in on this, thank you for your words of inspiration. Please keep the wisdom going. They need to know...
Probably one of the worst cases of unashamed pseudo science bull-crap I've heard in a long-long time, this should be categorized as sci-fi instead of science...please avoid at all cost
It's obvious that Bruce Lipton is absolutely passionate about the message in this book. He certainly convinced me. I have always believed something was missing from everything I was taught about genetics and evolution. Dr Lipton did a great job tying all aspects of life together into one realistic and believable model
Takes complex biological science and makes it comprehensible. Explains why genes are not destiny, the scientific significance of the cell membrane in shaping our biology, and much more. Fascinating insight into how scientific "truths" are determined and then have to be changed. Hard to put down. Shows what most of us have been taught is wrong.
This book is a thinly disguised promotion of new age nonsense by someone who should know better. To claim that the number one cause of death in the US is doctor incompetence is a dead giveaway. Lipton sounds like a bitter person whose ideas have been rightfully shunned by his peers but wants to strike back at those who see through his spiritual mumbo jumbo. While I found a few interesting nuggets and I am all for thinking outside the box, this book doesn't offer anything but flimsy speculation. Don't waste your money.
Even just a little honesty and science would have made this book better.
If you want biology listen to "Biology: The Science of Life". By The Great Courses and narrated by Professor Stephen Nowicki. This selection can be listened to in 30 minute chapters and is real science.
This book should have been listed under the heading " Really Bad Fiction".
Anger, sadness and disappointment. Misleading listeners with a few bits of science makes this book a sad attempt at fiction.
This type of fiction is only written to maintain the illusion of the mythical man in the clouds who cannot balance his checkbook and keep the money flowing into the pockets of the church by duping the ignorant.
Never ever. This is dubious book, full of flawed projections and reasoning.
This book should be banned or categorized under fiction/religion. Except first 2 chapters, every thing is a guess and rest of the book is fabrication. Don't bother reading this or any book from Lipton.
Dr. Lipton presents himself as the lone and rejected voice of reason in cellular biology. He imagines himself to be the defender of truth that others can't see. This makes the book feel disingenuous because he draws wild conclusions from little evidence.
The author focussed on mythical interpretation instead of scientific descriptions on biological activities.
Well... maybe not...
The author tried to interconnect many scientific findings with biological activities of cells. At least the effort has to be admired... If and only if it was scientifically correct...
