This is my first time writing a review and I normally do not. With the age of this book the material is still relevant and I can relate to it.The narrator did an excellent job with reading at the right pace and very clear for me. I definitely would recommend this book to readers.
In the world today, I feel that religion has taken over and this book allow the christian to stand out and reinforced belief and faith.
I've never listened to Jack Sondericker's but would love to listen to other books.
The Here and Now!!
The audio quality is so bad that I don't think I made it past 10 min. It sounds like he is speaking into a tin can and a computer program isn't quite sure how to filter it out.
The assumption that meditation is from the devil flies in the face of centuries of Christian mysticism, and was a very disturbing prejudice in this novel.
I love Frank Peretti's books and have (or will) re-read/listen to just about all of them. The narrator here is excellent, but the recording quality is a bit tinny.
The author and narrator are excellent and I give them a 5. But the quality of the audible version is poor and volume is also poor. I have listened to this book on tape in the past and there is a definite difference, sword fight was noticed by the clinging of the two swords which was missing. Now I'm not as driven to start the other book in the series. I was quite disappointed with Audible version of the book.
