I thought the girl who did the fourth and fifth books was bad, but this girl is worse. Not only does she sound like she is 12, there is very little differences to the character voices. StevieRae has no twang, Dairus sounds like a girl, and Grandma sounds like a tired, but very young girl. Not only that, she mispronounces all the Cherokee phrases and many other words. For example, Sons of Erebus. For five books, we hear it sounding like er-uh-bis..... she changes it to err-ree-bis. Save yourself the trouble and read the book and switch back to audio books for Book 7 & 8 where they have a different, and better, narrator. Can understand changing publishing houses and narrators, but come on, at least stay consistent on pronunciations and the like.
Great series, but I hate that they keep changing narrators, especially when the one in this books says a lot of names differently.
PC Cast does it again - I really love this series and the narrator does a fantastic job.
Just finished listening and honestly, the narrator wasn't THAT bad. She was no Jenna Lamia, but few are. It was distracting that she mispronounced some important words and names, but I expected it to be much worse after reading the reviews. I think most people can get through it.
i have now done the whole series and every sunday my husband and i go for a walk and this is my favourite pastime. my teenage niece is besotted, her friends are besotted and i believe the camped outside the book store to get this last book.
If you like hearing a teenager read to you with all the attitude, language, and tone then this audiobook is for you. I like the story but I would prefer to read it so I can tone down the teenager tone. Overall pretty good story, easy read/listen.

I'd perfer a different narator. This narator sounds too young. I really liked the book. I can't wait for the next book in this series.
