In this book, so many things change in the series and it is fast paced and exciting. The only thing I had a problem with is the narrator of this book.
She mispronounces Erebus which is pretty annoying as well as a few other words within the novel. Also, the voice of a few characters doesn't change from the Zoey voice at all, Grandma shouldn't have a voice like Zoey! This being the 3rd time the narrator was changed is quite annoying.
However I was able to listen to the whole book and finish it in just a few days. Eventually I got used to her voice but wish it was another narrator.
The continuing story itself, is really good and well written. But all of the teenage bickering and Zoey the Hoey is a little old. I truly wish she would have her feelings strung along and ripped apart at some point, then maybe she would stop toying with all the guy's hearts! That much saliva exchanging cannot be good for all parties! Other than that, and too much teen drama, a well written story.
Earlier house of night books where good, unsure of future books by each author
The main character Zoey. I liked her in earlier books but absolutely loath her double standards and superiority complex
She gave a note worthy performance
I still love the secondary characters and the story to an extent it's just the main character who ruins it for me
The book is obviously part of the series but the different narrators is getting old. This one was the worst of them so far. I enjoyed the first one best. Other then that the stories seem to flow well together.
I would not use Cassandra Morris again to narrate.
Not using this narrator
The story line
Her voice was annoying an whiny
Stevierays bird boy
Stop changing narrators
no! B/c the reader is not good! I may buy it and read it myself.
I love all the House of Night books
NOTHING! I hate the way she ends her sentences! Please stop changing the reader!!! ugh! so frustrating
I am having fun with series. Wish they would stick to one narrator though. Some of them makes me want to cringe. Like the series though, so I will stick with it.
