no! B/c the reader is not good! I may buy it and read it myself.
I love all the House of Night books
NOTHING! I hate the way she ends her sentences! Please stop changing the reader!!! ugh! so frustrating
I am having fun with series. Wish they would stick to one narrator though. Some of them makes me want to cringe. Like the series though, so I will stick with it.
I love the books by them but for this title i'm going to just have to buy the book itself.
Ugh where do I begin? It sounded like she was in a tunnel. She is too rushed. Can't pronounce half the names right. The way she ends each and every sentence annoys me because it seems like she is about to continue the sentence instead of stopping at the end. Everything is a run on. I can't even tell what character is talking because they all sound the same and they all sound so evil. I had to stop listening to this book all together. I stopped listening after she entered chapter 3. I had hoped it would get better but I just couldn't tollerate it anymore.
I would suggest just getting the physical book of this one. Unless you can tollerate her ramblings for 11 hours.
IT was too hard to enjoy as the narrator made it hard to follow with the series story lines.
Yes, I like the story, the problem is the narorator
I really like this series but it annoying to have so many changes in narration. The first narrator was great. The narrator for this book sounds like a child. At least make sure that each narrator uses the same pronunciation for each series. It's confusing to have to think about who the narrator is referencing.
The idea and story to the vampires I thought was really good. However the fact that only a 14 year old girl could relate to the story kept me from enjoying the series.
The genre of nice vampires who fall in love and care..Yes it has. It has not turned me off to Fantasy.
The entire book.
Didn't read the printed version
Not finished yet
Why did this author change narrators so many times? Can someone please ask her that. The first reader was excellent, the second one okay but good grief, if you are going to change narrators can you please get them all together and decide on the pronunciation of the names?
OK, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm in my fifties and I'm listening for about my 3rd time to the series, already got the last release, Destined and waiting for the next. What can I say, it is an Excellent read and a great listen to book while I'm sewing and doing housework....
Like lets hurry on the next book...OK??
OMG!! ANOTHER new narrator? The narrator for books 4 & 5 (Jenna Lamia) was AWESOME!! I loved her. I hate the narrator for this book (Cassandra Morris). It's like listening to Paris Hilton with a lisp. REALLY?!?! Why exactly would you have somebody with a lisp narrating books? Looks like they got a different narrator for the next book - hope she's better!!
Zoey of course!
she sounds like Paris Hilton with a lisp.....she cant get the voices right.....and she doesnt pronounce the words correctly
dont ever let Cassandra Morris narrate a book again
I thought the girl who did the fourth and fifth books was bad, but this girl is worse. Not only does she sound like she is 12, there is very little differences to the character voices. StevieRae has no twang, Dairus sounds like a girl, and Grandma sounds like a tired, but very young girl. Not only that, she mispronounces all the Cherokee phrases and many other words. For example, Sons of Erebus. For five books, we hear it sounding like er-uh-bis..... she changes it to err-ree-bis. Save yourself the trouble and read the book and switch back to audio books for Book 7 & 8 where they have a different, and better, narrator. Can understand changing publishing houses and narrators, but come on, at least stay consistent on pronunciations and the like.
