No. It isn't a terribly bad read, but I have to say it was a bit boring.
Richard has a nice voice and I enjoyed listening to the book read by him. However, I don't think he necessarily added anything extraordinary to the story other than the "British" touch with his excellent voice.
This isn't a book I would want to read/listen to again.
The writing was smart and witty with the perfect amount of British dryness while still appealing to the American reader. I felt like I was listening to an old classic rather than a modern novel, though, language was modern enough to be accessible by anyone. It was quite the enjoyable, well written read and will be recommending!
