This is the first in her series. The person reading a book can make or break a good book. With this reader and the book everything kept me hooked. I didn't want to put it down.
I started this book without such great expectations but was happily proven wrong. thus is a great start to a series I look forward to completing.
I read this book when I was a kid and spent some time a few years ago looking for it, but could never find the whole series. looking forward to listening to the whole thing, but for now this was a great performance of a great book.
An engineer who loves chemistry and science fiction
Not my favorite narrator, but the story creates the universe and sets the tone for the entire series. Great reading.
a Tech Exec who loves the stories about what could be and what should have been. Mixed with histories told from an outside perspective.
The writing of this is adequate, and plot lines are ok. This is a great alternative to vampires and zombies for the young reader. As an adult reader without young readers in my house I am mixed on whether I will complete the series.
so empowered! the story is very involved I could see the it in my mind eye listening to her. I know it is a young persons book but I really enjoyed it! I hope you do too!
I never read the printed version of the book so I can not say which is better
I would have to say nita was my favorite character in the story she reminds me of myself as a young girl I was always picked on and singled out.
Christina Moore brought the book to life in my opinion and you could practicaly feel the emotion in the storie
The part that moved me was when she gave it a choice in what it could do and it could change for the better
I think I would, it was well acted, and an engaging story, I'd love to share the story with someone younger.
Harry Potter, and other children fantasy books that aren't afraid to be dark as well as whimsical.
Nita, the primary narrator, she just seemed like such a normal young girl, Kit in kind like a a boy of his age, but I enjoyed getting to know her and her family. Though for secondary cast I'd give it to the mystical being 'Fred' though I won't be spoiling exactly what 'Fred' is.
No, not really, it was just very easy to listen to, enjoyable.
though it was clearly meant for kids, I found as a young adult of 23, really getting into it myself.
