While some of the writing is witty in spots (very small spots), the characters represent the worst sterotype of the Manhattan idle rich. You wish they would all form a cult and drink deep from the kool-ade barrel. Waste of money unless you listen to the example and decide you like this sort of faux-intellectual crap.
This is the first audiobook review I've been compelled to make...after a promising opening paragraph, this book went downhill. It's so New York-centric that it's almost incomprehensible. Too bad. It had promising pieces. Sadly they were buried under a long, unnecessary non-plot. With heavy editing, there might even be a story here.
Not worth my precious credits.
