I really enjoyed this book (except for the part about the dog) and would recommend it to anyone who likes interesting twists, a great narrator and suspense right up to the end!
This is the first Sandra Brown book I've read and doubt that I would purchase another if they are all like this. I thought the book was a mystery thriller, but it is a romance novel, and unfortunately, sounds like the it was written by a teenage girl with a teenage girl's view of romance. Very predictable with many cliches. I agree with the reviewer that said the women characters lacked depth, but the main male character is just as light. Not my type of book.
I love Sandra Brown's novels. She has a way of writing a story that includes everything from suspense, humor, romance and best of all Victor Slezak's narration tops it off.
This book has all of the above and the ending has a few "I didn't see that coming at all" twists. I loved this book and well worth the credit.
I have read this book once before and it was amazing. And it was great the second time around too. I love Sandra Brown's books.
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
Audible, please bring White Hot unabridged with Victor Slezak, this is his all time best.
Smoke Screen is not to be missed. This is a great lead in to a 2nd book. Our hero is just plain hot in this one, and he breaks your heart when....
No. Some of the scene were to gruesome for my taste. They were also drawn out too much for impact.
James Patterson's Swimsuit novel about a swimsuit model who was kidnapped. Listened one chapter of that book and returned it to the library.
Mr Slezak has a very expressive voice.
A TV movie. A Brad Pitt look may portray the main character
