i have a few of glenn harrolds recordings and have bought this not only because i think it will benefit me,
but mostly to give you a tip you may find handy!
i have a recording called "cat napper" that really helps me get to sleep, but the end of it intentionally wakes you up!
so what i have done is this: go into itunes (hopefully this is what you have?) and right click on the recording and then choose the "options" tab. from here, you can set the end time to before the part that wakes you up!
i hope you find this helpful.
2 words: Bottled Motivation
Very soothing voice and he does a nice job of lulling you into the trance especially for someone like me who is new to hypnosis/hypnotherapy. He also does cool audio tricks that are supposed to speak to your subconscious. I think they actually work.
I had some trial and error with this and I would recommend that you NOT listen to this before bed. The first 2 days I did and then my daughter woke me in the middle of the night and I was WIDE AWAKE and ready to "do stuff". I could not get back to sleep and ended up listening to a separate deep sleep track to "un-energize and demotivate" myself.
Now I set my alarm clock 30 minutes earlier, wake up and play the track to start my day (you can fall back asleep as you listen). Then when its time for me to actually wake up I AM READY!
This has worked wonders for me getting my small business up and running while maintaining my full time, 40 hours a week) job. I have the motivation and energy after I leave work for the day to do what needs to be done for my small business.
I am excited about life and can't wait to see where my progress 6 months from now.
I've got a couple of these hypnosis audios and this is definitely the most effective. It's like I'm addicted to listening to it before sleep now because I know I'll have a much more productive day following. It is quite strange when you wake up and realise the track has just finished.
Teacher; writer; poet.
Glenn Harrold knows what he is talking about and does a very good job. His voice is firm and inspiring in itself. I like listening to this one shortly after waking up and my cup of tea.Rule Britannia!
A memorable moment was when I was already deeply into the the recording and then Glenn Harrold says, "I am now going to count to three, and at three you will go ten times deeper down...!" - I was impressed. I was already "deep" - how much deeper could I go? But "ten times deeper!" - Well, I guess he was the guide and knew what he could do and what our minds are capable of. In short he inspired confidence and I felt amused at the same time.
Yes, I have listened to several of his meditation recordings. They are all good. I think this one was slightly better because he spoke a little more slowly. In some of the others, while they are very good, he sometimes speaks a bit fast for my liking. But all the things I have heard from him have been good.
A Power Shot to Start Your Day.
If you are hesitating about buying this...like "Should I...?" "Shouldn't I....?" I recommend you should. It is good.
The energy I have far exceeded my expectations. I am productive at my job(state dentist) , run a growing practice , study and still have reserve energy for my family.
The first time I listened to this I spent the rest of the day buzzing around the house getting my more loathesome household chores done!
So far I have listened to this about five times. Often, it knocks me right out. Since listening I have noticed an ability to stay somewhat more focused at work. It may be the tape or perhaps work is more interesting. I remain sceptical. Nevertheless, I think at this cost it is worth a try and I will continue to use it, even if it really amounts to a sleep aid for air travel.
I love Glenn Harrold as much as the next person, his works are truly effective.. But, is it just me or does just about every single one of his hypnosis recordings All sound the same? I own alot of them (not all, I dont really need a better golf game as I dont play.. along with a few others I just dont need) But I do have about 8-10 I think And seriously, they are all "about" the same with the exception of some sections moved around from here to there, sometimes he'll ask you to hold your breath and sometimes not, sometimes he'll go thru the diaframatic breathing thing, sometimes not.. Please don't get me wrong, in my opinion he's got the best hypnosis recordings out there and some of his stuff is a little more entertaining then others (creating wealth and abundance is awesome for visualizations) But honestly, you could probably just choose one of them and be good, "Unleash your true potential" seems to be a great all around, all purpose hypnosis... Funny thing is, I know this, I realize this, but still, I am compelled to buy more, more, more!?
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
Although it's hard to scientifically prove if this stuff works, I would belive that having positive thoughts suggested into your mind on a daily basis would have to help your mindset.
I've felt some change in my outlook, although I belive it's from listening to this on a daily basis... if you're expecting instant results, well, maybe it'll work depending on how you react to hypnosis. A big part of its effectiveness comes from your belief it works... and there must be some reason why this guy is a best seller with over 15 titles!
I've listened to a lot of hypnosis and they range from laughing at the hypnotists voice, to feeling their voice is grating, to really going under into a deep trance. This guys voice is OK, his suggestions are really great but he takes VERY LITTLE TIME to 'induct' you. Most hypnotists use a visualization to bring you into a trance, walking down stairs, beautiful beach, counting down - ALL of the other tapes I've listened to use 1-3 tries of counting down to bring you into a trance; this guy does it once, if that. Now each person is different and will experience different hypnotists differently - me? I like him but he didn't put me into a trance.
