I really loved this book, both the story and narration. I got so emotionally connected to the characters and the story hooked me completely. It is rare for me to get so attached to characters that I get choked up, but it happened to me more than once.
While reading this book, you are immediately drawn in to the plot. The narration is very well done and the main characters are very well developed without adding too many non-essential details and narration.
Loved the story. Thought provoking!
The hunger games trilogy...same type of fantasy
Didn't care for the voice of the narrator. To old sounding
I didn't listen to it after the first couple of hours as I couldn't hear the difference of the voices so it was confusing. Loved the story tho so I read the book instead.
This was my first audiobook and I loved it. Lots of suspense. I made a deal with myself to only listen to books on the treadmill or while on long trips. With this book I was doing alot of treadmill time. Had to find out what happens next.
Very intense and lots of twists and turns
Wanda, Melanie, Jamie, Jared, Ian, Jeb
definitely - unpredictable
when you realize who she really loves
Wanda the wanderer
yes, but it took many
very creative writer
One of the most captivating books I have encountered in a long time. Much like her Twilight series, I became border-line obsessed with this book. The story and its characters draw you in and there is never a dull moment. I was honestly sad when the book was over. This is a definite must read!
Getting into someone's head is easy, trusting their instincts can lead to a love you never knew you were capable of on this planet or any other. Stephanie Meyer bends her genius fiction writing mind and pens two determined souls who share one body that must make peace within to survive and find what they cannot live without.
After reading the hard copy of this book, I suggested that my husband check it out. He decided to download the audiobook and we listened to it together. Maybe it's just a personal preference, but when I read this book, I liked the main character because she seemed self-reliant and matter-of-fact. However, the narrator made her seem exactly the opposite, whiny, over-dramatic, and unlikeable Her over-acting completely changed the feel of the story. At least my husband got a good laugh out of it.
