"PLEASEMOVETHANKYOU" Barbara in Kissimmee, FL. Home Of the mouse.
I might a few years form now, its a interesting and entertaining story. Its simple in its writing and I suppose the kind of love story it tells but that also a plus - its easy to listen to, not to hard to follow - a book for the gym.
Yes i would. Its the kind of book you keep for times you don't really have to concentrate too much. Like for the gym or at the office. But the story, although filled with aliens, are a very simple love story.
Buy it. Its effortless entertainment, you wont be sorry as long as that is what you are looking for.
Make it shorter and the characters more real
The concept of the story is interesting, but the characters were annoyingly predictable and redundant in their behaviors.
She does a good job of differentiating the many characters.
No - enough is enough
I had heard that unlike the Twilight books, this was written for adults, but I was really dissapointed with the writing. It felt like Stephanie Meyer had to spell out every single detail to the point of beating it to death, leaving no room for the listener to form their own conclusions or thoughts on anything. I stayed with it to find out what would happen, but found it annoying and will not read/listen to her again.
The narrators voice was annoying and robotic sounding.
Her voice, I just couldn't get past the first couple of chapters.
Don't know, haven't got that far.
Needs new narrator. Maybe the girl who narrates Twilight. She has a pleasant voice.
Good Book. Highly addictive just like the Twighlight series. I finished it very quickly as I would put it on at home and in the car.
I loved this book. I didn't want to stop listening, yet at the same time I didn't want it to end. I love science fiction but was reluctant to read this book because I knew the author was famous for vampire books. I'm glad I overcame my reluctance because this book was so good. I highly recommend it.
I found this audible hard to turn off when returning from my commutes. I was pleasantly surprised by both the content and the performance. A recommended must "listen" Stephanie Myer or Stephen King?
Yes, I am a huge Twilight fan. Yes, the only reason I listened to this is because of my love of Twilight. It's a bit long and it's okay.
The narrator did a good job. I usually like Kate Reading's narrations.
I was not expecting this book to be this good. Love the story line... different and well put together. I can't wait for the movie to come out.
Jeb was my favorite character, always looking at the possitive side of the sitiation. Also Ian, so loving and always willing to give a second chance to everyone.
Yes yes yes.
Love this book. Listened to it 3 times now. Can't wait for the movie in March 2013
