Snappy, fun dialog for the most part...until the last several chapters. Sugar Beth devolves into a whining, idiotic wimp. Colin becomes a weird, omniscient, controlling freak. Irritating narrator - her take on the men's voices were not pleasant to listen to.
I'm a big fan of Southern Belle drama queens in literature, and these characters are very enjoyable. I would love to read more of her books, but unfortunately this the only one on Audible, so far. Hint!
This story is highly interesting and very hard to swith off despite the painful narration. As a southerner I must admit being particulary sensative to bad southern narration, but this one would have made me too sick to stand if the story wasn't so engaging. You can easily distinguish the various characters even if most of them were painful. The British accent was also morbid.
She has the most bored sounding voice EVER! Yes, she can do various accents well, but all it did was startle me from nodding off at the rest of the boring, monotone narration.
