The author had a formula and is getting lazy. This was not so funny or sexy just kinda BLAH....
I might get the next one but not certain. Vampires in same family and each with their own live story. not overly lusty!
Yes, I would listen to Tall, Dark & Hungry again because I truly enjoyed the narration and the way it added to this story, instead of subtracting from it.
I will try listening to every book in this series, but I will be returning the ones that I don't enjoy simply because I won't waste my money on a badly narrated book when I can read it myself and enjoy it 100% more.
He was excellent in Single White Vampire and was again excellent in Tall, Dark & Hungry.
I think the moment when Terri decided that she had to leave & left without talking to Bastien and then when Bastien finally found out what she did and why, and the first thing he did was follow her.
I'm glad this series finally found some continuity and I hope it continues in further books.
love it....it's one of my favorite stories from Lyndsay Sands. so I had to get the audiocopy. needed to hear " have you ever seen an American Werewolf in London...." being read to me. lol ❤
I am getting older with a younger heart and outlook. Love reading and just began listening to books. VERY avid reader!
So funny! I was up all night listening and laughing. This series is great! The only problem I have is the women's voices with Jeffrey Cummings. He doesn't do women very well. It would be good to have both a woman and a man maybe reading; but since these have all been done for a while, I just put up with these things and enjoy the stories anyway.
Everything that can go wrong does....and it's not even Bastian's wedding. Chris Keys (CK) make a reappearance in this book and even gets a more predominate roll. Sadly, it's as the unlucky guy who keeps ending up in the hospital. Bastain sure has his hands full with CK's bad luck, the wedding preparations for Luke and Kate's wedding hitting so many pit falls, and trying to figure out how to keep from getting his heart broken by Terri. It's a fun story and a great read for anyone who's gone through the trial of planning a wedding. Definitely a re-listen.
The narrator was just horrible. I was really looking forward to listening to this story, which I've already read. Instead I am going to return this audiobook for a refund and won't touch the next title in the series, also with the same narrator, with a ten foot pole.
The voices used by the narrator remind me of the over exaggerated stock character voices used by high school drama clubs.
Please rerecord with a decent narrator.
If you like humor, steamy romance, awesome characters, GREAT story lines written by a genuinely kind, compassionate and absolutely hilarious author I HIGHLY recommend Lynsay's Argeneau series. book 1 and on. some narrators aren't that great on audio but the books themselves are so uniquely wonderful they take you far away from your troubles and give me a break from life making me laugh if only for a short time. Thank you Lynsay!
