I thought that the concept of the story was really good, but its execution was terrible. I constantly found myself annoyed at the author never choosing the obvious. All the characters were well defined and likable, but stupid. I'm all for stretching reality for a good story, but the main characters just ignore any logical conclusions over and over again. The ending was unbelivable and the epilogue - well, give me a break.
Although the narrator has a smooth voice it seemed to me to be nearly monotone.
This story was predictable and ultimately--boring. The character portrayals were clumsy and shallow and the science behind the story was silly. This was the least interesting mystery I've listened to yet.
I enjoyed listening to this book, but I felt the plot was a little predictable. I guessed "who-dun-it" within the first half of the book and was kind of surprised that I was right, since it seemed pretty easy to pick out.
