So much insight and the word of God
Yes, some of the female parts sounded fake
I would recommend

Unless you live alone on a deserted island, you need to read (or listen to)this book . I can not evev begin to explain to you how freeing this information is!!!
Mostly- the narrator. He is the worst. I actually think the content of this book is essential to healthy relationships but too many hypotheticals and random out-of-context scriptural references. I'd prefer the abridged version over the entire book.
People Problems by Dr Alan Godwin - much better, in my opinion
EVERYTHING. I just finally had to stop listening. He would place strange emphasis on words and read passages in such an over-dramatic way. It was horrible. I just want someone to read it straight. If I could give NO stars I would. The audible recording is also a little annoying in that it is impossible to skip a chapter because the book chapters and the audible chapters do not correspond. If you go to the next Audible chapter, you're usually in the middle of a different number chapter from the book.
Yes helpful content
DO NOT BUY THIS RECORDING. JUST READ THE BOOK.
Audible Junkie, listen while driving everyday, look forward to the daily deal every morning just like my morning coffee
I did not realize it was so heavy into Christianity - WAY TOO HEAVY. So many bible verses I thought I was in Sunday school. The title itself is not indicative of the heavy religious content. I have picked up some nuggets but I find myself tuning out to all the verses
His voice irritates me
The information covered in this book was great. I am a big fan of the authors but I did not like the narrator's delivery. Although I like his voice I found it very condescending at times. If he would have left the dramatization out it would have been much better. I had to stop listening to it. Also, I appreciate the religious component of the material but the interruptions with bible references was distracting.
