"Bofo Becko!"
Love him or hate him, agree or disagree -- One thing you have to admit, Beck is entertaining, to the max. This was an absolutely GREAT listen! I liked it so much I may even buy the book so I can savor it in written form. I especially recommend this book to those of progressive proclivity. It will drive them nuts! BWAHAAAA!
"Good facts...average humor"
Full of good facts, quotes, and ideas. But, Beck does make a good idiot...so, all in all, a good listen.
"I am no idiot"
This book was great -- enjoyable "read". It really gave me an appreciation for our American history and our American way of life. I never want to loose what I have -- even if we have to put up with idiots who don't believe in the Constitution and the real freedoms it provides us.
"Awesome!"
This audio book was great! I own the actual book and was curious how this would be done in an audio version but I loved it and found it both insightful and hilarious! That Beck can both laugh at himself and the world and not lose his perspective is what makes him so enjoyable! I laughed out loud listening to this book and plan to do it again!
"Loved it!"
I'm a listener to Beck's radio show, but wasn't sure about a book (audio or not). I was pleasantly suprised. I loved it. I've listened through it once and expect to give it a second listen.
"The Struggle Against Idiocy"
Glenn Beck's appeal is in the conversational style that invites the interjection of his self depreciating remarks and cutting comments. It's amazing that the book is as intelligible as it is entertaining and thought provoking considering the form it's written in. Thanks, Glenn for the great listen and history lesson found within this audio book!
"Fantastic"
This man is so entirely misunderstood by the main stream media.I challenge anyone liberal, conservative, republican, democrat to give this a read listen whatever. If by the end of this book you're still convinced that Joy ,whoopi, Oprah are on the right side then you my friend should probably go out and get yourself a lobotomy because you're already brain dead.
"Stupendously Brilliant!"
The brilliance of Arguing with Idiots is that Glenn takes the entire liberal narrative and deconstructs it piece by piece until at the end all you have is a bunch of mumbo jumbo feel good-ism.
I guess what I like most about this book is that if you pay attention to it, what Glenn is really doing is teaching you how to take a liberal's arguments and turn it against them.
Oh and one more thing...It doesn't hurt that this title is amazingly funny!
"what todays news leaves out"
Well i generally absorb most what was read in this book but the chapter on presidents would be something i would revisit again
Facts, not too much opinion
His ADD moments are quite amusing
Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt, whom i thought was the model republican, and he just isnt.
Only that Glen should narrate his books himself (Pat and Stu are not bad either), more people would be incline to buy his other books.
"Awesome Book with Great Points"
First Glenn Beck book ive listened to and I loved it.
Not sure have to read a book to be able to compare.
Great listen and would definetly refer all to listen.
