In business meetings both formal and informal, I retold many of the stories from the book, and started applying many of the tips right away! I was entertaining most of all, but very practical and fun to listen to.

I would recommend this for anyone with their own biz, or in any sort of marketing position. Its good common sense with a modern bend and all really useful info. I listened to it three times, making notes the third time to apply to my own biz. Recommend.
I really enjoyed Yes the first time I read it while on a long drive. The points are interesting, well backed up by studies and research.
I find myself putting this track on at night when I'm ready to drift off to sleep. It's interesting enough to listen to more than once, but unlike a novel I don't need to worry about falling asleep and missing the story line!
The tips are great, I make use of them to good effect in real life situations.
The title says it all. There are 50 good examples on how to be persuasive. Because it is broken into 50 ways, it is very easy to pick-up and read for short amounts of time. Finally, I like how their motives are not manipulative in nature (which a lot of sales/persuasion books are).
I found over ten items in this book to be new information that I could act upon immediately. Ten might seem like a low number, but get these kind of books all the time and it's rare to find any new information, much less multiple items. I highly recommend it. It has already paid for itself many times over.
book had many interesting ways to be persuasive, some things you would think go against it, however, once you thought about it, it made sense and was backed up by research and case studies. overall very good book.
I really enjoyed listening to this book. It was relevant and full of information that I think will help me in my business. What I didn't expect was that my 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter would also enjoy listening to this book. But then there is a lot of practical information in this book that can be applied to many situations.

Many great ideas!!! I found any of Malcolm Gladwell and Daniel Gilbert books much more entertaining. I am glad I purchased this book and will purchase the text as well. Any one in Sales/politics should read this one and put it to work.
