This was an extremely entertaining listen! If you like this and have not listened to "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents America (The Book): A Citizen's Guide to Democracy Inaction" then you should definitely give it a listen as well.
Colbert narrates his own book, so you get the man and his material. With tongue set firmly in cheek, and with the exception of health care, Colbert walks us through the key issues of the day.
This book was so funny, I may listen to it again, just to make sure I heard all the jokes.
If you read the book whilst listening to the audio version, you get the truth TWICE at the SAME TIME! If there is a braille version, I will buy that and learn braille so that I can see, hear, and feel it at the same time. If only there was a way to taste and smell it as well. If you know of a way, let me know.
I love commedy. I love talk shows. I love Bill Maher and other intelligent pundits. I HATED this book. Listened for 10 minutes and deleted from my player. It's boring. No real insights. Tries to be controversial, but he's not really, or just doesn't have a point.
