This being my first audible book I wasn't sure what to expect but needed something to listen to while traveling. The story line was great, which I did expect, being a fan of James Patterson already! The narrators story telling was great! Even changing between different voices! It was very easy to differentiate the character he was portraying. Looking forward to my next audible book!
I love the series, I had read this book a long time ago, but wanted to hear it in audio form, bad mistake.
Alex of course, he is a good guy working for hard people.
I'm not familiar with all the names, but it would be someone with a richer sound to their voice and able to bring the character out more.
Seen it, Alex was played by Morgan Freeman, it wasn't bad, but Alex's character is younger.
I have read other Alex Cross books, if I decide to listen to another one I hope the narrator is a whole lot better.
Enjoyed the book, but will probably read the rest. The narration tended to take away from the excellent story. My first introduction to the Alex Cross character sparked my interest in hearing more from him and his peers.
I really didn't like the reader. Morgan freeman is a hard Alex Cross to follow but it was just bad. I can't even contemplate suffering through a second.
The horribly blasphemous language alone would make me advise Christians to refuse to listen to Patterson but the agonizingly long and hopelessly drawn out plot with repeated parts should make it fail for anyone!
