So far This book is probably my fave in the series. What I loved best was the female leads determination and drive to get what or who she wanted no matter what. Couldn't help but root for the girl.
Obviously my favorite character is Zsadist the lead male. His back story was heartrendingly sad and yes I cried a bit. What made it all the more powerful was the love shown to him by his brother who is obviously suffering himself from unwarranted guilt. But it was amazing to watch as his character grew and finally got to a place where he could love himself.
The narrator was consistent. I have to admit tho that I would much prefer to hear different voices done for these characters though but still no real complaints.
This story runs the gauntlet of emotions from anger, fear, self hatred, self sacrifice and love. it will take you on an epic journey that epitomizes the time honored cliche that love truly does conquer all.
I'm absolutely in love with this series but the narrator killed it for me...... I only got this book because I had a credit and it was my favorite book in the series.
Ok, first let me say that I have been sitting on this audio and the 2 before it for over 2 years. I had so many books to listen to and they got lost in the shuffle. With that said, I am IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES! This book however was a really complex read and I loved the way the author goes out of her way to give you background on each and every character. The main character in this book (Z) was so easy to love, as life has been difficult for him. It was interesting to see the revelation of his feelings for his brothers, as well as Bella.
I'm so hooked now, that I am on to the next audio....
Zsadist has always been my favorite (always out for the underdog). Love the tenderness you see in him periodically. I loved that he found love.
Bella's persistence and when Zsadist's eyes turn.
I like this entire series. All characters and plots are entertwined and are built upon with each book. I am glad that we don't loose characters as the books continue.
Nothing. Jim Frangione's narration is getting better and better. I can say that at first I disliked his narration - he was too flat, but now he's great.
Looking forward to finding out what happens with Torment and why what happened to Wellsey happened.
Yes. I try not to read books over, but it would do the book injustice to say no.
Excellent narration. Brings each character to life.
I don't think 50 Shades of Grey brings as much to the table as this sexy vampire series

This book is by far my favorite book of the series so far! I am absolutely in love with the character Zsadist!
ZSADIST!!! I absolutely LOVE him, I love his story, and how his story is still playing out! I cannot get enough of him and his little family!
I love Jim, I've listened to all the books in the series so far and Im never dissatisfied with Mr. Frangione.
OMG YES!!! I still get chills when I think about the ending of the book where Zsadist writes "I LOVE YOU" for Bella!
This is my favorite book in the series so far. The narrator does a good job too.
This is a story about various forms of bonds. It is about power over, love, resistance and submission.
The twins! How they were there for each other. How they held each other accountable.
No. There's something unique in his voice.
Don't know but the story definitely educates one on the issue of torture.
This was a tough read for me. I wondered why I kept listening at various points. Something about it did not let me give up on it.
I love that such a tragedy is turned into an amazing love story.
The flashbacks of the twin brothers that explains how Zadists past turned him into such a monster.
Most definately, I never wanted to stop listening.
A must read, my favorite of the Blackdagger Brotherhood books so far.
So many books...so little time! :)
This is probably my favorite book out of the series thus far!!
I love Zsadist and Bella, and their story is really amazing! Zsadist struggles with his past and the hatred and turmoil it has brought him all these years. His story alone is one to cry about. The horrible things that were done to him were unthinkable, and you begin to understand why he is the way he is.
Bella, whom Zsadist saves from the lessers, is so sweet and gentle with him, despite the awkward tension between them in the beginning. Things change so much when they do finally get together. But you begin to wonder, however, what it will take for Zsadist to realize what he truly has in Bella.
This book has so much in it in addition to Zsadist's and Bella's story. Fury and his bond with his brother is a great story in and of itself. There is also heartache, shock, and so much more. So many unforeseen events that happen...my head is still spinning! From Torment, John, Fury, and Butch...so many OMG moments! GREAT GREAT BOOK....best yet in the series so far!!
