Another great book in the outlander series that has everything you would want in a book, romance, conflict, adventure and plot twists aplenty.
The only thing I can comment on negatively is that the narrator forget how she did roger and Brianna's voices in the previous books. Now roger sounds exactly like Jamie, when before he didn't have much of an accent and had a different tone altogether. I got over it though. Still an excellent performance. Davina porter does a beautiful job of acting, voices and story telling.
I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes good long stories, and this book and performance to any existing outlander fans!
Yes, because this one had a lot of humor made it feel real.
When daughter finds father and she runs out and sees him peeing by a tree. And when poor Rodger could never get a break.
How to really pronounce the unfamiliar words such as how Jamie calls Claire, Sassenach.
My favorite this far.
Peter Pan is my hero, my dog is the love of my life, and I hug trees.
The author uses the same words and expressions over and over and over again. It gives an obnoxious sense of deja vu. I want to buy her a thesaurus.
I truly love this whole series so far. Everything about these books makes me want to read on and on. Beautifully written. The details are so good you can close your eyes and imagine every little thing down to the smallest detail. I could read these books over and over.
Love the history!
I will try.
Anger of paying for what I didn't get!
Paid for 3/4 of the audio. Sad that the rest wouldn't play!
Davina Porter does a beautiful job performing this story. It is an excellent read and listen. The characters are people with whom one falls in love with. Each book is incredibly long but for the most part it holds the attention and keeps you coming back. I highly recommend it.
