Great book (I have listened to the whole book twice). Learn how a killers mind works.
Philip Carlo vividly tells the story of how the Ice Man killed people in various ways.
Carlo does a good job showing the personalities of the killers family
I really liked the narrator in that he sounded like a 1950's scold. To those who say it is over-written, I say that that's part of the fun!
This is pure crap, if you want a good mafia listen check out - I hear you paint houses.

I enjoyed every minute of the book. Carlo tells the story in vivid detail, with an objective POV. The narration is good. The story would be unbelievable, if it wasn't true. Absolutely worth the time and money.
You will probably not like what this guy did but he is the real deal. If you want to know what ticks in the mind of a murderer than this is the guy to read about.
This book was a little difficult to listen to. Not because of the writing or the narrator but because of the actions of the "Ice Man". I listened to this book almost a year ago and I still can not get parts of it out of my mind. This book is definatley not for children in my opinion. This book is not for the soft hearted either.
If you like true crime this is an awesome read. Growing up in NJ, i could identify with many landmarks and i was there when this madman was on the loose!! This is a sad and ironic story- you can almost identify with the killer. A must read if you like the sadistic side.
This book is not for the faint of heart. Richard Kuklinski is indeed an Iceman; a cold blooded psychopath with no regard for human suffering.
Minor literary repetitions didn't distract from the story for me like some reviewers. I found myself listening at home as well as my car. Usually I only listen in my car if that's any indication of what a gripping tale it is.
It's an amazing look into the mind of a sociopath. I actually felt sorry for the guy at one point in the book. Nurture vs Nature. This guy could have been a great man had he had the proper upbringing. It's tragic how parents can affect the life of a child. RIP Richard the nice man Kuklinsky
