Not for the Squeamish but a good read. Its hard to believe that this really happened. It kept my attention through the entire 19 hours.
This story has to be the most redundent and amateurish book I have ever read (listened to). Either the author is completely incompetent, or the individuals interviewed kept making the exact same statement to every question asked. Every comment or "story" was almost identical word for word. Just listen to one paragraph from this book, and just repeat it over and over for 18 hours, and that is Philip Carlo's book. Don't waste your momey.
Ilove this book! It would not let me go! This is the most shocking, suspensefull book I have ever read. Its hard for me to imagine someone like this could be real. This family man, this seemingly normal joe turns out to be the most prolific serial killer of all time!! He was a product of his childhood, and you actually kinda feel for him throughout his twisted, murderous story...ENJOY!!!
This book was interesting sometimes a bit grusome but I think could have been shorter without losing much of the story, I started to get a little bored near the end. It also includes a live interview with the iceman at the end of the book
The inner workings of the Mafia and the details of the Ice Man's killings revealed in this story just how heartless and disturbed a hit man can be. Interesting and compelling reading.
Philip Carlo assembled some terrific research to give us a very up-close look at this killer. Combined with the fine narration of Michael Prichard, the story is riviting.
At the end of the book is an audio interview with Ice Man, which I found not at all interesting.
