My name is Tessie. I'm a married, twenty-something bookworm who loves her kindle, her husband, and hot tea. ✝ Festina Lente.
The beginning and the three women meeting each other at Warrior's peak.
Relief. The story moved so slowly, I was excited that something was actually happening to further resolve the mystery.
Dana. I liked Malory but really didn't connect with her. Dana, on the other hand, was my favorite of the trio.
The premise is intriguing, but the plot was incredibly slow moving. It just creeps along, hardly moving. There really wasn't a build to the climax of the story at all. I was simultaneously loving the book and being frustrated with it. Not Nora Robert's best work, but it really set up the trilogy.
I'm really liking the second book, Key of Knowledge much better. However, without the setup of this book, I honestly don't think I would like it as much.
I would suggest this trilogy to any Nora Robert's fan, and any supernatural romance fans.
I found myself finding excuses to go for drives or "get the grocery shopping done" so I could listen:)
Great book!! Typical Nora Roberts style. I can't wait to listen to the other 2 books in this trilogy. I absolutely love the narrator. She did a fantastic job on this one.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Cant wait to hear what happens with the other characters!
I love how Nora Roberts brings the camaraderie to life between characters.
The Firebird by Susanna Kearsley. They have the same type of mythical mix with modern people.
She is very good at doing the different voices and showing the passion behind them.
Laugh and smile. I love the women and the friendship that they share.
For my busy schedule, audio is always a better option
The fact that the answers to life problems are always within.
Yes. She is amazing. Susan is definately what the standard should be for any reader of audio books. So many books are ruined by the reader.
It was a little hard to follow at times. I may have to listen to it again before I read Book 2
Susan Erickson brings this book to life, at times I forgot it was just one person reading.
Not my usual genre I was so surprised at my total addiction to the story!!
I got this book on the 4.95 page and it was one of the best books I have read ever. The narrator was awesome too. I could not stop listening. When the book ended I paid full price for Part 2 Key of Knowledge, and now I just finished that one and am on to Part 3 Key of Valor. The book made me feel like I was in the book. I cant wait to get started on Part 3. I know I will be so upset when it's over. This is a must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
