Susan Erickson brings this book to life, at times I forgot it was just one person reading.
Not my usual genre I was so surprised at my total addiction to the story!!
I got this book on the 4.95 page and it was one of the best books I have read ever. The narrator was awesome too. I could not stop listening. When the book ended I paid full price for Part 2 Key of Knowledge, and now I just finished that one and am on to Part 3 Key of Valor. The book made me feel like I was in the book. I cant wait to get started on Part 3. I know I will be so upset when it's over. This is a must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Say something about yourself!
This trilogy is awesome. I am not a romancy girl but these stories had mystery excitement and a perfect touch of magic and fantasy. Yea yea the romance was ok too. I got sucked into the characters quite quickly and pretty much listened back to back. Really couldn't put them down, in the car, in the kitchen, getting ready for bed, nonstop. Good stuff.
This can not be a book by Nora Robert's, it is the most boring, stupid, and no sense book I have ever listened to. Don't even get it if it's free. I just deleted it after a few chapter's and then just skipped thru a few more chapters and it was still the most stupid book I can think of.
Yes I would recommend this book...found it to be interesting and fun to listen to...sex seen wasn't real heavy.
The beginning when the 3 girls meet and the stage is set to the plot of the story...
She is clear and bring characters to life.
I am a retired Court Reporter and I LOVE books. All kinds of books but my favorites are mysteries and period books. I like civil war books and some biographies.
This is the first of the trilogy. It is so sweet but also scary. It had me from the first sentence. I've never read a story like this one. It flows so well and easy. I listened to it in one day. Susan Ericksen is the best.
Book 1 was so juvenile and predictable that I did not even finish it and, though I had purchased books 2 and 3 in good faith as a Nora fan, I did not start either of them. I would not recommend this trilogy. . .
Yes, but I will preview much more carefully what it is that I am purchasing.
I was too disappointed the recognize them if they were there.
Good book - but please .... the accent used by the narrator is some sort of hybrid Celtic, but Welsh it is not!
Your mileage may vary
I very much enjoy the characters in this trilogy, and have listened to them every fall for the past 3-4 years. I am new to Audible and this purchase on sale was a no-brainer for me.
I really like Susan Ericksen's narration of these books; I enjoy the accents she can bring to characters, and if you love Roarke in the Eve Dallas books you will want to listen to the Key Trilogy to hear more characters with an Irish accent.
If you love Nora Roberts, she does an especially nice job with the secondary characters in this series - coworkers, library patrons, former bosses, etc.
I have never been disappointed by Nora Roberts. Although this book is different from any other, it keeps you interested throughout.
Rowena because she is mysterious, gentle, and kind. Doesn't wear her heart on her sleeve, though. One must listen to hear her moments.
Yes. Her knack of being able to help you separate the characters and feel the emotions is uncanny.
