This book definitely pulled at your heart strings. Easy read, lovable characters, classic Sparks novel. A little too unrealistic for my medical background. But it definitely didn't stop me from wanting to finish it.
narrator's southern accent disappeared somewhe somewhere in the middle of the book. story goes so slow. inaccurate or implausible portrayal of someone coming out of an extended and deep coma from a tbi. I know how it is ...my daughter and other patients suffers from it and it does not end in a fairy tale. fiction, after all. not investing in Nicholas Sparks again.
The book was repetitive and a little annoying at times. The second part was just boring. I think I will stick with the movie. I think it was much better.
