Over all I like the story. Just a nice little treat but the narrator sounds like a ten year old. Her voice is perfect for the twins but not for the main characters (specially the male). Not a strong voice for male characters.
I thought this was a real cute Christmas love story! However, the narrator sounded like she was 12 years old and that was very distracting, especially the love scenes!
A short but very sweet Holiday Love story. Predictable, but what's wrong with that? If you hate christmas, love, kids and dogs this book might not be for you.
The girl who narrated this story sounds like she is 12 years old, if not younger. She does great voices for the kids, but she is the wrong choice for this story.
It was heart warming and it is a happy ending.
She sounds like she is 12 years old. It felt really wrong to be listening to a child, especially during the sex scene.
I wouldn't cut a character, i would make the father more love-able though. The whole time, you wanted to smack some common sense into him.
I enjoy historical, paranormal, and contemporary romance. Also steampunk, sci-fi, fantasy, suspense, and fiction. I'm open to about anything
Setting: Maryland, contemporary
Genre: Sweet holiday romance
Typical early sweet-romance Nora, with laughs and tears. The protagonists are relatively well-rounded for a short story. There are nice people as the backdrop, and there's no villain. The twins, serving as the impetus of the action, are sweet little caricatures. I do wish this had been part of an anthology, but that's my thought on any of the stories I'm reading this season.
This book was sooo cute and the twins in this one, made the book. I didn't really like the narrator, but the story is very good, for a short story, but then I like Nora Roberts romance books.
Likes to read and now to listen to many different area of books. Interested in more books. Open to suggestions.
I have not read the print copy. But I find I can picture things better when I'm reading.
I ready like Christmas stories. There's not big changes I would make. The story was great.
The narrator was pretty good. She kept the story moving right along. I kind of like her childlike voice of hers. It was part of the magic as the story unfolded.
I'm crazy about when one by one the twins ideal of "the mom" were found in Nell. The was special how she had learned their individual personailties.
Great job Nora Roberts and good job Lauren Davis.
I've been rereading this story for years; it was great to have it to listen to while I wrapped presents.
I think the whole tale is memorable, but I think the most poignant is when the twins tell their dad what they asked Santa for.
My fear was she wouldn't do justice to the story. She brought the story alive.
You will very much enjoy this Christmas Story Nora Roberts does a very good Job your heart strings will be pulled and you will not want to put your Ipod down.... If you are wanting a fun Romance Christmas story that puts you in the mood for romance, Family and Christmas than you will very much enjoy this book, I found myself re lessening to this book for a second time..
