This was a very long book. But a little bit everyday is alot.. This was a very inspirational book. Before this book I only knew Buffet was a wealthy man I had no other clue. I dont know what's in the shorter version but there is alot of information in the 36 hr version. It was well worth the insights. I do recommend it.
When the Student Is Ready The Teacher (BOOKS) Appears....
Very few book, hijacked my attention as this book did, every storied chapter of this amazing man could certainly give you enough to research and fill in stories, every aspect of his life is documented all over the Internet. I found myself looking up all of the names mentioned in the stories and feeling drawn to the side stories of all of them.
it is like a movie and novel and it is a true story instead. I said it is true because I read all the books of warren buffets.
amazing experience and changed my life focus
the book was well done and thoroughly researched. it did not get too hung up on the minutiae of the mechanics of investing. That said, it was a great informative look at how large large scale investing happens.
If you had told me that I would listen to a business biography for 36 hours and never tire, I would have laughed outright. But this is an exceptional book about an exceptional man. It is a wonderful read by a talented narrator.
An exceptional biography of one of the worlds most amazing people. I found it to not just tell the story of Warrens life but show his true depth of character. It is a must read for any and everyone.
Highly recommend. Warren Buffett is an incredibly fascinating man. His life is a testament to the power of the American dream.

Yes, it's LONG, but it's worth it! Schroeder uses every word to explain the complex genius we know as Warren Buffet.
This book is a monster. It would've been difficult to stick with it to the bitter end if it hadn't been so remarkably well written, and if the woman who reads it wasn't so superb. I couldn't seem to get enough of this book, although I'd be lying to you if I said I wasn't glad it was finally over. All in all, highly recommended for anyone interested in business, finance, or human nature. Warren, we've never met, but I feel like I know you now.
