Anna Fields did a great job narrating, loved her change in accents.
When Molly put the salmon in the lake to change the guys mind about buying the Bed & Breakfast.
The moment that Kevin decided that Molly meant more to him than football.
I could not stop listening.
This book had a great story line and I really loved listening!
I REALLY LIKE THIS SERIES OF STORIES ABOUT THE CHICAGO STAR FOOTBALL TEAM PLAYERS AND THERE LOVE LIVES. IM SAD, I LAUGH OUT LOUD. SOME STEAMY LOVE SCENES, AND WHO DOESNT LIKE A BOOK WITH A HAPPY ENDING. I RECOMMEND THIS SERIES.
As an artist busy with my hands and eyes I had to give up reading. Then audio books came into my life and I am back to over 200 books a yr.
Story line great, reader superb, characters addictive. It is a page turner that you don't want to put down.
Had read others in the series and was really wanting to read about how Molly fits in.
Learning the depth of the characters makes them feel a part of your real life.
The narrator's performance is flawless as always. She does the voices great and adds so much to each character.
I feel saddened by our loss, as readers, of Kate Fleming. She is already dearly missed.
This was my very first Susan Elizabeth Phillips read. I was listening at work, and actually voluntered for overtime because I didn't want to stop. SEP is so talented, she gets me. As long as she writes, I will continue to read and or listen. Molly and Kevin had such a unique beginning and an overall touching and witty connection.
Yes, I really enjoy Anna Field's rendition of this book.
Fun, funny, characters that are likeable.
I really enjoy this Susan Elizabeth Phillips series and wish Audible had more of them!
I believe there are 3 elements to a great romance audible book: good narration, believable plot, flawed characters and great dialogue!
This is my second favorite SEB novel (Natural Born Charmer is my top). This one is not as light as some SEB's other books, however the sad elements only made me feel more connected to Molly and Kevin. The secondary plot/characters did distract a little from the story, however not enough for me to rate this any lower than 5 stars!
This was one of my favorite books in the Chicago series. I love the storyline. Great book and excellent listen!
Maybe reading it, but I am never listening to this woman again.
I took a shot on this book based on all the comments and the rave reviews of the narration, which I'm really picky with. I couldn't pre-listen to a sample, so I went with it as it's so well-reviewed, but I am really wishing I had saved a credit on this. Her voice is so clinical and old, the voices she does of kids are great, but her general narration detracts from the actual story. FYI- I love the narration of Bernadette Dunne and Rosalyn Landor, so if you do too, and narration is a big deal to you- AVOID this!
i read all the great reviews/ratings and decided to give this one a try but had a hard time finishing the book. I was hopeful that it might get better as the story progressed however I can't help but feel that it was a complete waste of my time listening to this embarrassing book. The story has no point but just seems like some immature girl's love fantacy. I will never pick up a book by this author.
