If you're looking for a little fluff mixed in with a little teen drama story, you'll love this book. Pulls on your heart strings, though kinda predictable. If you're a fan of Nicholas Sparks, you'll definitely like this book.
This is a novel for an pre-teen audience.
The reader is a young girl who cannot read properly.
The story is so predictable that you are a hero if you finish it.
This book takes you through the mind of a young teen girl trying to find herself. I enjoyed the many adventures and the honesty of the relationship between a father and his daughter. He wanted to express he acceptance of her through his open handed style of love. He showed her that he trusted in her ablitiy to make good decisions even when it appeared that she did return her love. I hightly recommend this to anyone looking to find connnection and acceptance.
An decent story that was easy to pay attention to. The male narrator was painful though when he would tried to imitate the girl's voice. I think he got the tone wrong, interpreted her wrong and came off as annoying.
I enjoyed the book very much - as with most Nicholas Sparks stories this one leaves me thinking about the story our lives tell. I did not particularly enjoy the narrators of this audio book.
Nicholas Sparks tells a good story but this one will make you angry that you don't feel good when it's over. Wish the ending were different but I loved it anyway.
I have read and enjoyed many Nicholas Sparks books. I feel this this one needs a disclaimer. It is way more religiously oriented than the other books of his I've read. It seems geared for a Christian teenage romance bookclub.
