Very entertaining! Several twists I wasn't expecting -- I love a book that keeps you guessing. I found myself driving out of the way to get a few additional minutes of listening time!
A different reader maybe...
No just to this narrator and possibly the author.
Almost any one..
Disappointment and anger I wasted a credit!
Worse Connelly book ever what a disappointment! I have over 100 audible books of different genres and this is one is by far is the worst of the lot.
I like Connelly but this was not one of his better efforts. Never real felt any attachments to the characters and although I made it through the book (that means something), I was glad when it ended.
Say something about yourself!
The narrator says "peee-dophile" instead of pedophile. He also says "hooowhat, hoowhen, hoowhere" it's weird.
Professional female with little time for the fun things (cooking, reading and traveling)!
I had read this story number of years ago and had forgotten that i had read it! It was a great story then, and it still is. Thanks to Audible's return policy, I'll be able to correct that error. Michael Connelly just doesn't disappoint.
Connelly tells a good story and I've always liked his characters. I think this one could have used a bit more editing--it gets a little long-winded in places. I liked the reader--good emotion and very clear voices that seemed natural for the characters.
A great story and kept you guessing untill the end.
The Narrows which was the follow-up book
The end when it became obvious who the Poet was.
No one moment
The use of literature: the tension between police and journalists and the state police v FBI interesting. A rather monotonous delivery and some predictable story lines a problem.
The use of Edgar Allan Poe. Was interesting. The predictable love interest least so
A different reader
No. Too old
No! Because there are so many books and too little time!
It was a great listen! Good reader, with a story that kept you on the edge of your seat!
I think the overall book was so good, it was hard to pick a favorite scene!
So far it is my favorite Jack Reacher book by Lee Child!
haven't read the print
he made it easy to listen and each character was readily different
