I love Carl Weber and I have read most of his books and this one was by far the best. The characters were written with such depth and portrayed so well that I felt as if I knew them all. I love all of the climaxes and I actually read Player Haters first so I was familiar with Will and Diane's story line. although some of the charcters like Rose were pedictable, her story line still surprised me. excellent read/listen overall!!! I can't wait to read or listen to "She aint the one" which picks up with Jay!
Hi my name is Bianca and I am a avid reader. I love all types of genres and read all the time. I am a book worm and always will be one.
I loved that even though Allen knew that Jonathon was not his son he still love and wanted to be a part of his life.
I liked that in the end Kyle and Will got back together with their wives.
My favorite scene was when the police confronted Rose at her house in front of everyone and arrested her for killin Allens mother.
I would take Allen out because he seems like a good man and he would make a great and honest husband.
I would if it were not for the abundance of cursing. If one doesn't mind that, indeed I would.
Yes definitely although I didn't. I listen to my books while driving to work, but if it's good I will take a long drive and just listen. This was one of them.
Overall the book was good, but some of the things that these men were allowing themselves to get into was like really!!!!!!! They were doing things without thinking of the consequences and then wanted to wonder how did they end up in that situation, again REALLY, smh. Also some of the things were a little predictable, but aside from these things I mentioned I still enjoyed the book and I would recommend it.
Yes I would bcuz it really was a good book.
Kyle, Will, and Allen.
Allen....when u read or listen to it u will understand why.
Overall this was a good book and I really enjoyed it.
I've been an avid reader since I was a child. I love different types of writing styles and I am never afraid to try new authors.
This is my favorite book by Carl Weber so far. Each character had a great story line and I enjoyed it till the end.
I love Carl Weber. After reading his book "Something On The Side", I said I have got to read/listen to all of his books. "Married Men" is something else...lol. I love the way he takes these four men and talk about their different experiences and roles as husbands. I was crying, laughing and mad when I listening. It's an emotional one. Carl Weber has an amazing mind. It's even more amazing how he puts his these stories together. He is an author you must not sleep on. I have the whole office buying, reading and listening to his books. Can't wait until his new one comes out in 2010. I will be the first to buy the book.
VERY WODERFUL . I WOULD PASS THIS BOOBK ON TO EVERYONE I KNOW.THIS A BOOK I THINK EVERY MAN AND WOMEN SHOULD READ BEFORE THEY THINK,THEY ARE MISS OUT ON THE SINGLE LIFE AFTER BEEN MARRIED FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS!!!
The drama surrounding the men's lives made the listen very enjoyable.
Waiting to Exhale would be the female version of Married Men because each deals with four people of the same sex and their ongoing issues.
Most of the men's voices were quite pleasant and manly.
It's still so fresh in my mind and they all had very interesting lives, so I'll say all of them. But for some reason, Kyle is my favorite character, not sure why though. It just seems like I can relate to him the most.
It was a book that I look forward to listening to every chance I had.
The audio version was easy to follow and hard to put down. I enjoyed every car ride.
Not comparable. I felt like I was one of the guys silently listening.
The performance was okay. I wish they had more emotion.
I was moved by the issues each guy went through in their marriage and how they were able to admit and still be there and fight for their family.
